Become a Sustainable Lafayette “Supporter” by making a tax-deductible donation of $50 or more.
Your financial help enhances Sustainable Lafayette’s ability to provide the community of Lafayette with the information, inspiration, tools, and assistance that facilitate the adoption of sustainable practices. Every dollar expands our ability to turn Lafayette into a truly sustainability community and an inspiring example for other similar communities in the area and around the country.

We don’t pay for office space and our paid staff consists of an independent Community Outreach Manager. Almost all of your donation goes to operational costs, programs and projects such as the following:

Inspiring Events – like the annual Earth Day Celebration, Sustainable Sunday, and the Film Series.

Educational Programs – our summer film series and other misc. workshops and lectures.

Green Schools – working with the local school district to identify green opportunities.

Green Transportation – for helping residents learn about green transportation options and “Bike Lafayette” – a group dedicated to building an active bike community in Lafayette

Waste Diversion – a city-wide recycling campaign aimed at reaching a 75% waste diversion rate.

Leaf Awards – supporting local students to fund projects to make our community more sustainable.
