Silent Auction Items at Sustainable Sunday


At Sustainable Sunday—in addition to the food, music, drink and presentations—there will also be a silent auction. All donations toward the silent auction will enhance and expand Sustainable Lafayette’s community outreach activities that support Lafayette elementary, middle and high school students to complete projects geared towards sustaining the environment and making our community an even better place to live.

We have an awesome line up of incredible auction items ready for you to bid on. These items were donated by local residents and businesses who are acting locally and thinking globally. Here is the current list of items up for bidding. Take your time as you go through the list and earmark a few items you’re interested in… they will be waiting for you on Sunday, September 15 at the Lafayette Community Center.

Activity Auction Items

Board and Brush Gift Certificate: Purchase this unique Lafayette sign and then visit Board and Brush in downtown Walnut Creek to create your own unique project. Explore your creative sign without having to plan, shop or clean-up your project. Visit Board & Brush


Dashe Cellars Wine Tasting: Skip the long drive to wine country and visit Dashe Cellars in Alameda for a flight of wines in their unique, urban tasting room located in a historic airplane hangar on Alameda Point. Diablo Rock Gym: A day pass for two to go climbing, bouldering, use the gym or take a yoga class at the Diablo Rock Gym. Diablo Rock Gym offers incredible climbing terrain along with a variety of fitness options. You will find hundreds of routes and boulder problems adorning slab walls, steep overhangs, dihedrals, crack systems and corners. We have several training apparatuses, including hangboards, a campus board, an adjustable crack, and crack wall for training crack technique. Tony Watson Autographed ball: Bid on a baseball signed by Tony Watson, Giants pitcher. Tony Watson is an American professional baseball pitcher for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Los Angeles Dodgers.
