Your financial help enhances Sustainable Lafayette’s ability to provide the community of Lafayette with the information, inspiration, tools, and assistance that facilitate the adoption of sustainable practices. Every dollar expands our ability to turn Lafayette into a truly sustainability community and an inspiring example for other similar communities in the area and around the country.

- Free admission to all events held at Library organized by Sustainable Lafayette, including the summer film series (no donation requested)
SL Supporter – “Hero” – $250+

- Invited to and recognized at SL’s annual holiday party
Business – Event or Project Sponsor – $250
- Recognized at event or associated with specific project
Business – Annual Sponsor – $500+
- Recognized on web site, in e-newsletter, and at all SL events during the year

GIFTS: PayPal doesn’t allow you to enter a gift recipient, so if you’d like to make a donation as a gift for someone please make the donation using your own billing information and then send an email to info@sustainablelafayette.org with the name, email, and mailing address of the recipient.
We don’t pay for office space and we don’t have any paid employees, so 100% of your donation goes to operational costs, programs and projects such as the following:
- Web Site – more success stories and an even more engaging and interactive web site
- Inspiring Events – like the annual Earth Day Celebration and Art & Wine Festival Green Zone.
- Educational Programs – workshops, lectures, and green films.
- Green Schools – working with the local school district to identify “green opportunities.”
- GoLafayette – a campaign and web tool for helping residents learn about green transportation options.
- Waste Diversion – a city-wide recycling campaign to reach a 75% waste diversion rate.
- Summer Interns – utilzing summer interns to give them valuable experience and accelerate our efforts.
- Other Projects – gives us the financial resources to act as a fiscal sponsor for other sustainability-related projects around Lamorinda.
